[ hello network! the next face to greet you is that of a scrawny kid who looks like he hasn't slept or eaten in several weeks, frowning at the holographic screen coming from the bracelet as thought it was the source of all his problems. which was unfair, really- so far the bracelet was only the source of one problem: broadcasting live to a large group of unknown people.

nico looks as though he could think of ten million less uncomfortable things he could be doing. ]

Okay. Well. It doesn't make sense.

[ he realizes shortly after that he's gonna have to be a little more specific. he waves his hand impatiently. ] I mean, it makes sense. I read some stuff and I don't see why it couldn't make sense: this place, these gods, the weird... residents. [ that word is used lightly. ] All of that makes sense. Fine. What doesn't make sense is all of you.

[ and here he points a finger accusingly. ] You mean to tell me not one of you other people brought here knew about this? This place or any of this before you were here? Not even a little? [ it just seems so strange to him because sure there were things that went on in his world all the time that mortals didn't know about. but even then there were cracks and some people still knew. ]

I can't believe not one of you were in on something. These gods just did everything themselves?

[She's only been here for a few days, quietly observing the network and the city. Mitsuru hasn't gone out to very many of the festivities, and any times she's gone out have been for exploring the city.  She really isn't all that interested in dressing up in foreign clothes just for fun. Not her style.

Getting information though, that's more Mitsuru's thing. So this morning she is down in the lobby in Odin's house, sitting very neatly and properly in one of the lounge chairs, not wanting to disturb her new roommate by making this post.]

Good morning. My name is Mitsuru Kirijo, a recent arrival to this city. I've been informed recently of the hard times this city has had with regards to the war, and as such, I do hope that everyone has been enjoying the festival and gets the opportunity to relax.

First off, I'd like to ask for some opinions. I want to arm myself in the event that any sort of attack takes place, and while I've noticed a few blacksmiths and armories around the different districts, I would like advice on which one provides the best quality items. Affordability is not an issue, and I am looking specifically for an establishment that focuses more on rapiers.

Next, I'd like to get more involved in efforts related to this war or any organizations that have communications with the gods. I have not had experience in fighting in a war before, but I believe I may be able to provide some assistance in situations if the need arises.

Finally, I... [She falters for a moment. Her expression still remains fairly professional, but it's clear that this is something that she feels awkward in doing. Which would be correct since she's never actually had to do this before. What a rich kid.] ...I'll be looking for employment during my stay here. If anyone has any knowledge of recent openings or opportunities... or even advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

[ Tessa’s voice comes out of the blue, nervous and shaky. ]

-bably working now.

Hello? Hello? Is this thing working?

[ Rustling, shuffling, panting. But not crying or sobbing, Tessa doesn’t whine. She’s wondering for how long will that last though. ]

I am just going to assume I have managed to turn this on. The screen appeared, as well as that…list. I think it was a list, although it was so very colorful…and not very helpful, if I might say so myself. [ Tessa could totally make a better list, okay. ]

But pardon my manners, it’s just that such a rude change of setting- I have lost my composure. My name is Miss Gray, Miss Tessa Gray, from Manhattan New York, 1878, although I must admit that I was in London before I ended up here, not that it matters terribly now. I cannot fathom the reasons behind these summons, but seeing as how I cannot do a thing to go back- [ And excuse her if she sounds hurt about this; she has been kidnapped before, and it sucked. ] –I humbly offer my services and my full intention to help with whatever necessary, little as it might be.

[ Just don’t ask her to go killing monsters, because that’s more like the job of her friends. ]

I would be much obliged to you if you could please let me know if any of these names sounds familiar to you: Will Herondale, James Castairs, Charlotte and Henry Branwell and Jessamine Lovelace. These are, ah, I suppose they are my only friends, and I would feel much better knowing whether they are present here or not.

[ There is a pause… ]

Lord, I certainly hope this thing is wor-

[ And then the message ends. ]

[Remembering what one of the gods suggested to him, Akihiko turns to the network to ask for a specific favor…] Hey! I hope everyone’s having fun at the festival! We should hold these more often! There’s gotta be other occasions to celebrate, right?

By the way, does anyone know how to sew? Not just patch things up, but to actually sew clothing pieces together? I’ll pay for your time and all the materials, of course. Whatever ya need. Hit me up if you’re interested!
