I guess I'm not really in the habit of giving advice (if this could even be called advice). I'm not even much of a bookworm or have that much of a thing for words. I just figured everyone has a phrase or quote that matches them pretty well, don't they?

I like this one. Pretty sure I would have liked it at nineteen, too.

Just out of curiosity...

Is there any idea about a defence system or plan of action if, or I guess when, Thiazi attacks again? I feel like this is twice we've been caught off guard. Both times a huge chunk of people had left the city. I don't think that unintentional. Even if it's just something so we can get the kids some place safe, like a bunker. Or somewhere they can go where we can't during a lock down. Since there's always a chance of us turning into the enemy.

Think a plan for the children is a lovely idea. Thing is, if there's always a chance of us turning into the enemy, isn't there a chance it could happen to the children as well? It'd be awful, to lock them up all together, only to have it turn into Lord of the Flies with super powers.

But there's got to be something. Even if it's some sort of bunker or system in place to alert everyone. Something a bit more than the SOS I mean. Or not more, but different. I don't know. It just seems like we're sitting ducks every time something happens.

Thought about it... But aren't they- wouldn't they be more useful when it came to offence? I'm kind of thinking more along the lines of pre-emptive protection so that we don't have to fight as hard. Or... Be caught off guard as badly as we usually are.

I'd offer to keep an eye on all the children, since being on the front lines isn't what I do, but after Thiazi's last attack, I'd say I'm hardly qualified.

That's kind of the problem. I don't think any of us are qualified. Which makes the reason all the more important. There's got to be something we can do. Some sort of system set up or safe house or something. Not so much for us, but for the kids.

There's so many of them lately.

Just out of curiosity is a splendid saying, Miss Rose. I certainly say it quite a bit. Oh ah... but about the actual matter... what about something outside of the city? Nothing seems to happen in those places.

Curiosity is great to have. Especially when you're young, believe me.

Outside the city might work, but there should probably be something inside the city too, just in case we can't get you lot out in time.

Funny, I asked something similar about the organization of this 'war' upon arrival. I still find it a bit disconcerting that some of us have been here for so long, yet there are no formal plans for defense, no generals or leaders of any sort. Or at least none of which I am aware.

I'm not exactly all that excited about even needing it, and I dunno about having leaders or anything. That can lead to a mess about as often as it lends help.

But some sort of plan for the next time... That might be useful.

I don't know if I'd quite agree with that, but I can appreciate someone who does. That said, if you get any information on your question, I'd love to know.

So far there isn't much. Turns out it was a pretty decent thought on my part, and I'm hoping to get something started. Soon, actually. Or sooner than later.
