I guess I'm not really in the habit of giving advice (if this could even be called advice). I'm not even much of a bookworm or have that much of a thing for words. I just figured everyone has a phrase or quote that matches them pretty well, don't they?

I like this one. Pretty sure I would have liked it at nineteen, too.

Just out of curiosity...

Is there any idea about a defence system or plan of action if, or I guess when, Thiazi attacks again? I feel like this is twice we've been caught off guard. Both times a huge chunk of people had left the city. I don't think that unintentional. Even if it's just something so we can get the kids some place safe, like a bunker. Or somewhere they can go where we can't during a lock down. Since there's always a chance of us turning into the enemy.

I would prefer to think it wouldn't... But it's a possibility. If she's done it once, who's to say she won't do it again?

I guess so. I hope she doesn't. That sounds creepy. Scary.

What about us kids? If we go somewhere safe then how can we help when something happens though?

Well, if it's my own personal opinion, I'd say it's best if you're out of the way. And I don't mean that in a 'you're useless' way, cause I'd be a massive hypocrite if I did. I mean it more like... It's less of a distraction. If we know you lot are safe, we can do the stuff that kids might not be able to.

I mean it depends on the scale of danger. Not all of it you'd need to be out of the way and protected for. Kids patch up the dumb grown ups better after the fact, I think, anyway.

Oh. So you aren't worrying about us if something happens you mean? I guess I can understand.

I can heal so I can help if you adults get hurt! I mean, a little. I'm still not very good at it yet.

Yeah, exactly. It's a lot of stress on us. We spent so much time thinking and worrying if you're okay, that we end up making stupid mistakes. If you lot are safe, it's less for us to think about.

Healing is great! Especially after the fight, if there is one. Lots of us get scraped up at least a little. I'm sure if you practice you can get better. Even level one can heal up bruises and stuff.

We would be worried about you adults too though.

Which is another reason for you to stay and keep the other kids safe. It's easier if you look after each other. At least until you're big enough to come help us. I know it doesn't sound fair... I didn't think it did when I was little, either.

Level one is okay. And sure, if we come to you, or ask you outright, then you can definitely help us with your healing.

I managed by myself back home for a while. I'm not that little.

You're smaller than me (and I'm pretty short) and I have a feeling you're under the age of ... twelve. That's still pretty little.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Telling you. Or bringing them, depending on which way is easiest, I suppose.

I'm nine. I don't mind either way, so long as I get to help somehow.
