( Alayne fiddles with the bracelet around her wrist for a moment before speaking - she's hesitant about addressing the whole of a city that she cannot see. After all, it's dangerous to be Sansa Stark these days, now that she's a traitor accused of regicide. But amongst the midst of all these voices, it's unlikely that hers will be recognized ( or so she thinks, as she does not know details of the network yet ). She is Alayne now, not Sansa. They will not know her. Lies and arbor gold, Alayne thinks. No one takes notice of a bastard girl. )
Gods of Asgard, I wanted to thank you for choosing me for such an important task. This is an honour that I did not expect. But I must think of my lord father - he worries so, and I wouldn't want him to fret. I'm only a young girl - surely someone more gallant should be chosen for a deed like this.
If it please you, I would ask that you send me back to him.
( but alayne doesn't expect much: no one gets what they want without a price. all she can do is ask. )

under that bright sun daenerys targaryen's hair is hard to miss, shining white under the light and eyes a vivid purple against her clothes. she carries no dragons, for while they are only children in her eyes they could very well frighten this girl.
when she sees alayne dany cannot help but feel compassion. her wide eyes and lonely figure against her surroundings reminds her very much of how she feels on the inside. ]
My lady.
[ she responds in kind, voice ever gentle. she has no desire to frighten this girl. ]
I do not believe we ever exchanged names. Would you give me yours? I would match a name to your face.
action
king aerys had borne three children: there was rhaegar, who had ran off with lyanna stark, who might have been an aunt to her. then, viserys and daenerys.
daenerys targaryen, I name you so. there had been rumors, only stories about dragons in king's landing. sansa had never paid them any mind, back then. she says nothing. she pretends to know nothing. it is much easier to feign innocence and ignorance - she had learned those lessons in king joffrey's court. they had called her stupid, joffrey and the queen, but they didn't know. )
I am Alayne Stone.
( she will know. there were times when being a bastard had its benefits; alayne was no person of note. she was only baseborn, and no threat at all. there is nothing in her to incite the targaryen words of fire and blood.
does madness run in her veins as well?, I wonder? )
action
Well met, Lady Alayne. I am Daenerys Stormborn, of House Targaryen. The Unburnt, Mother of Dragons, khaleesi to the Dothraki of Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Shackles, Queen of Mereen and rightful Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men.
[ she gestures to the steps. ]
May I sit with you?
action
rightful queen of the andals, she'd said. she doesn't know what to think of that, whether a targaryen would be any better than the lannisters, or king stannis, wherever he may be. she has all but given hope on the just nature of kings, though. it matters little to alayne. )
Yes, your grace. I would consider it an honour if you would.
action
You must have many questions, Lady Alayne. I would try my best to answer them, or perhaps we might find answers together. We are not so far apart in age.
action
( she is right, they are not so far apart in age. but as kind as her look is, alayne finds it hard to trust one who claims to be queen. cersei was gentle as well, at the beginning. she'd had only gentle words and pretty smiles for her. but it is perhaps the nature of queens of seek pawns, not friends. she is beautiful though, alayne thinks. the kind singers write about. )
Why are you called 'the unburnt', your grace? It is different than your other noble titles.
action
I am not certain you would believe me if I were to tell you, Lady Alayne. However I will, if you wish it.
[ she pauses, before speaking again: ]
During the night of my husband's death, I raised a funeral pyre for him. During our wedding celebrations I was given three dragon eggs. I had never seen such beautiful things in all my days. I set them into his pyre, and as his people watched me--I walked into the flames myself.
[ i must sound mad to her. ]
Part of me is still not certain what led me there, but I only knew that I must. When I entered the flames..they did not burn me, Lady Alayne. No, amidst all the grief and loss of my husband, there was life. From that fire were born three dragons, the last in all the world.
And standing with them in my arms was myself, unharmed. That is how the 'Unburnt' was given to me.
[ she raises her eyes to her again, gauging her reaction. ]
