[She clearly has no idea what she's doing. For starters, the video is just of the wall to begin with. Mostly she's just hit buttons until something seemed to happen.]
Is this...? Oh dear, this is so dreadfully confusing. Well...
[Finally she comes into view, curls all arranged perfectly despite her absence of maids to attend her, or near enough. Admittedly, her hat is hiding most of it, but that was the novelty of such a large hat, and she was glad she had them, because doing her hair was going to become... difficult. Almost as difficult as lacing up her corset by herself.
She's also sitting on the stairs of the Welcome Hall, and somewhere between a frown and a pout on her face. She was doing alright with being here, some part of her was even excited... but... well she couldn't go out through the water. It would ruin her dress, and on top of everything else, she disliked feeling trapped, even if she was used to it.]
I'm told that others can see this? I'm a little confused but... does anyone know how to leave the buildings without... well, getting damp?
[She leans on her hand, sighing a little, just a bit bored too.]

[She laughs at the silliness of it all.]
Seems no matter what I do, I am going to get wet. Had I realised, I would of perhaps worn better shoes, but I don't think I have any of those oiled leather shoes boots. [She doesn't really do practical, but then she never had the need.]
[ooc// ah yes I do believe she is >.> /still working things out sob]
video
Having time to plan before we got magically whisked here would have been nice, yes.
[He's thinking.]
What if I bring you a change of clothes - just to wear until you get through the water. They'll be women's clothes, I promise.
video
I'm not usre how much you know about ladies clothes sir, but... they're a trifle difficult to get in and out of easily...
[But, she was stuck here, and she was starting to get hungry at the very least. It wasn't that she didn't know how to be practical after all, it just wasn't a habit.]
.. so it might take a little bit of time? Nor do I know exactly where I am going. I just... wanted to get out at the very least.
video; i sense awkwardness ahead
[He could just see Beckett's face now when he told her he needed to borrow some of her clothes in order to rescue a woman from a foot of water.]
From there I can show you where your Welcome Hall is. The maid told you what house you're in, right?
video; delicious awkwardness and you nearly got a tag for Elizabeth then. :|
Freya, that's my house. What house are you in?
[This was all a bit sudden really, she didn't even know this man's name yet.] I'm Georgiana, by the way. Georgiana Cavendish.
video; :D
[Castle smiled.]
Richard Castle, pleasure to meet you, my lady. Freya house makes perfect sense for you. I'm in Loki.
video; 1/??
[Wait, pants --]
video; 2/??
Looks down as she can hide her look of despair. She shouldn't be so attached to her clothes, but they're honestly all she has.]
video; 3/DONE. >.> oops. FF.
Well I suppose if they are off another lady, I am sure they are... perfectly fitting.
[Sob. Just sob.]
video
Listen, you don't have to get rid of the dress. I'll carry it for you so it doesn't get all wet.
I mean, I can come get you anyway, without other clothes, and take you through the water.
[But she'll be sloshing the entire way.]
video; oh castle <3
[Gee gives him a brighter smile for even suggesting for being so helpful.]
I'm just out of my depth, so to speak. Even if it is only a foot of water.
video -> action; he's a gentleman ;)
[Castle was pretty out of sorts too, though he thought it was Ryan and Espo playing a practical joke on him.]
I'll be there in a little while. Got to go to Heimdall to get the clothes first. Sit tight.
[With another smile, he shut off the video stream.
About a half hour later, Castle came sloshing through the water in a pair of rain boots that went up practically to his knees. He held a bag with the clothing in it.]
Lady Cavendish, I presume?
video -> action; she appreciates it, her life is suck
I'll be waiting, thank-you again.
[After hitting random buttons, she managed to get the thing off again. Then sat patiently waiting for him to appear. Which when he did, she beamed at him as she took the bag off him.]
My lord Castle, thank you so much for this.
action;
"No problem at all. Inside the bag is a button down shirt, some jean pants, a pair of socks and rain boots. I.. guess you can go back into the palace to change?"
action;
"Yes, I suppose I will. I'm sorry if it takes me a little while... It really is hard to do this without my maids." She gave him a smile then.
action;
"I understand.. ah.. take as much time as you need."
action; /handwaving is my friend.
And off she went, and she really did try to be quick. In part because if he was waiting, and because if she stopped to think about it, she'd be too mortified to leave her room. At least she still had her corset on. She didn't want to go with out that. Perhaps it was for the best that all of this was all... without a great deal of style like she was used to, she could hide in it almost.
So eventually she appeared again. She still had her hat on. Silly as that was, she had to have something, and it did serve a purpose at least. Though she was holding herself stiff as she tugged at her shirt, like it would magically turn into a dress if she kept trying. "I-is this alright?"
action;
"It's lovely. I'm glad Beckett's clothes fit you."
He offered her his arm.
action;
Georgiana took his arm, glaring at the water before she stepped into it. "Well, where do you suggest sir? Everything is a marvel to me here. I'm told I am completely out of time here. It was the 1700s where I am taken from."
action;
He led her slowly through the water. It made perfect sense that she was from the 1700s, based on her clothing.
"I'm from 2012."
action;
"Is it very nice in at that time?" She watched the floor under the water, well, she supposed if it came from a river, it would be more muddy, as rivers usually were.
action;
"It's a great time, thanks to the combustion engine and electricity, both of which were discovered over a century ago. But those two things made possible much of which we have in my time."
He glanced at her, taking her in. Lady Cavendish was even more beautiful in person.
"I kind of always wanted to go to court in the 1700s though. Court means something different in my time. Generally it's not a place you want to go."
action;
Georgiana smiled at him, caught between looking at him, and looking at the things around her.
"Oh, it's very grand. I suppose you mean law courts though? I hope you have not had too many dealings with that." She grinned. "No, it's... oh, very bright. I don't know how people are now enough to know how it is different to your social circles."
action;
"Yes, those are the only kind of courts we have in my time. I live in the New World."
Depending on what year she was from "America" either meant nothing or was a huge fuss.
Those type of things were hard to explain for someone who didn't have a scientific background, but he figured he had to try.
"A combustion engine uses... gasoline and heat.. I think, in order to make it run. You can use it to create energy. Similarly, electricity creates energy too, but it's like...... you've seen lightning before, right?"
action;
"... Oh, is that how the lights work. I could not understand how people just turned them on with a switch..." She looked up then, pausing to stare at them again. "They're very grand aren't they? It reminds me of our estates in Bath, quite a bit."
