[She clearly has no idea what she's doing. For starters, the video is just of the wall to begin with. Mostly she's just hit buttons until something seemed to happen.]
Is this...? Oh dear, this is so dreadfully confusing. Well...
[Finally she comes into view, curls all arranged perfectly despite her absence of maids to attend her, or near enough. Admittedly, her hat is hiding most of it, but that was the novelty of such a large hat, and she was glad she had them, because doing her hair was going to become... difficult. Almost as difficult as lacing up her corset by herself.
She's also sitting on the stairs of the Welcome Hall, and somewhere between a frown and a pout on her face. She was doing alright with being here, some part of her was even excited... but... well she couldn't go out through the water. It would ruin her dress, and on top of everything else, she disliked feeling trapped, even if she was used to it.]
I'm told that others can see this? I'm a little confused but... does anyone know how to leave the buildings without... well, getting damp?
[She leans on her hand, sighing a little, just a bit bored too.]

I'm told that others can see this? I'm a little confused but... does anyone know how to leave the buildings without... well, getting damp?

action;
She noticed the pink, it looked sweet, like a cake with the prettiest decorations. Not as ornate as Chatsworth gardens, or the palace ones, but still she liked them. Distracted momentarily by them. "Oh this is very simple isn't it? I guess you couldn't have anything too ornate where there are so many people going about their daily life..."
"Are they?" Well... that was going to get complicated. How on earth was she going to call everyone the right titles? Did they even have titles? Sigh. "I'm sure people will be lovely enough that it isn't a problem to be in such mixed company."
action;
"Are they?" He repeated, trying to understand what she was getting at. He got it with her next statement. "Oh, you mean.. commoners. There are all kinds of people here. You might find other aristocrats."
Never mind that the man who was currently leading her through the muck was a commoner as well.
action;
"It's more, well there are certain rules, strictures, those sort of things. Even down to the right way to address people... not knowing them is a little daunting." Especially for someone as eager to please as Georgiana, what if she said the wrong thing?
action;
"I don't know if there are a lot of social rules here, except for maybe obvious ones like don't get in someone's personal space without asking. People here are from all over. I just stick to Mr. or Mrs. If it's not right, they'll correct me."
He felt there was a common sense of forgiveness regarding things like that, given the nature of Asgard.
action;
"So as I understand it, we're all in different houses? Do we all live in separate places?"
action;
Not that she probably had any context of that.
"You have the room to yourself, but you end up sharing the bathroom with someone else."
action;
Not that she knew what it was like.
"... Well... I guess I'll get used to that too, then." Cheerful as ever, or at least trying to be.
action;
She seemed pretty ok with it, which kind of surprised him.
"It's probably going to be different than what you're used it."
action;
But she smiled anyway. "But this place has a charm that home certainly doesn't either." She had no husband, no loneliness and bitterness, and no thousands of dollars worth of debt.
All in all, things to look forward to, even if the quality of life was what she'd normally consider below her.
action;
And he always thought that women from earlier times were stuffier.
action;
She turned away then, back to watching the water. "Are we almost there, sir?"
action;
"It's right there."
He pointed to the large building about a hundred yards ahead of them.
action;
"Oh this is pretty isn't it? I cannot say I've seen many pink houses before."
action;
Castle led her up the front steps where they were finally out of the puddle. He shook the water off of his shoes.
"Well, Lady Gee, it's certainly been a pleasure."
action;
She knocked her boots together to get rid of the rest of the water.
"And you, my lord." Out of habit, and because he'd been kind enough to warrant it, she curtsied to him. Regardless if she was in pants or not, manners were deeply ingrained after all.
action;
"I'll come pick up the clothes when the water recedes again. Keep them for now in case you want to go out again before that happens. It was truly lovely to meet you."
One thing about Castle was that he knew how to talk to people. He didn't use it for malicious reasons (most of the time), but his ability to change his speech and manners depending on whom he was speaking with was a feature that had helped him immensely.
action;
Which it was all a great deal more bearable for what he had done. "Thank-you, it was lovely to meet you too." Stepping closer, she gave him a chaste kiss on the cheek. She'd exchanged a kiss for a vote once, showing her utmost thanks and appreciation was nothing in comparison, really. "Really."
action;
"It's no problem at all."
He stepped back down into the water and gave her a wave.
"I'll see you around, I'm sure."
action;
"Good day, my lord." She waved good bye to him, before turning and going inside, first thought to be getting out of these clothes.
