I can't be the only one who thinks the handling of recent events has been absolutely disastrous, can I?

Speaking as a fellow ruler, the lack of common sense involved is, quite simply, baffling. We're already short on food and resources, and yet more people have been taken in. Are we expected to subside on bread and water so every wandering soul can crowd the city?

Perhaps these refugees should have thought of this before they chose to live somewhere vulnerable to floods.

And, I'd like to add that many of us would be willing to return home and ease the burden, if our leaders are so intent on picking up strays. It's not right to subject us to this squalor when we don't want to be here in the first place.

Yo Asgard!

[Sadly, register isn't spelling. But it's a start.]

Hope everyone's doing okay? That flood sure left a mess But there's a whole bunch of stuff it didn't leave too, even if some of it already got found by now. So I thought, why not lets all make a list? Like just one list? To collect everything and keep updating so people know what to keep an eye out for, where to take it, belongings pets people its all good. And maybe if you trip over something that really looks like someone would miss it, so they could find out and pick it up. What do you think? If it's a good idea I'm going to put it here. It kind of sucks that it'd only be us who can see it easily, but you guys can spread it around anyways right? If you want to. Or just help look for other peoples lost things! We're all in this together! Laters!

A lot of people ask about the gods when they get here and they keep talking about them after, too. It made me think. We don't have any gods where I'm from, but we have a government.

Mr. Odin is the one who keeps things running here, so he's kind of like the President Snow of Asgard. [Rue frowns.] Except...nicer. Some people in Panem like the government, some people don't. Some people here like the gods, and some people don't. [It's a match! Kind of.] I kind of realized I don't really know a lot about the governments in everybody else's world, and now I'm really, really curious. So, now I'm asking!

What are the governments in your worlds like?

Oh, and one more thing! [She holds up a few glass decorations.] I'm experimenting with colors and shapes right now, so I have some extras I can give away. If nobody wants them, I'm gonna use them to decorate our cafe.

[Actually, that isn't a bad idea, now that she's said it.] Ummm never mind, I'm gonna to put some up anyway. But you can still come and get one! I'll be at the Safehouse in Freya district!

[It's rare Bunny uses the network, even rarer for him to use it to speak to the people of Asgard in their entirety. He's just not a fan of technology. But now, more than ever, he knows everyone here needs an injection of what he gives out best: hope. And so, the video screen fills with his furry face. Behind him, are what look to be the starts of a project of some kind. Paints, paintbrushes, and pans of something bubble away.]

Right, now we've got ourselves a break in our regularly scheduled madness, I'm going to take the chance to talk to you all about something important that's coming up, next handful of days, I reckon, unless my timing's off: Easter.

[He gestures to his fuzzy self.] For those that haven't met me yet, g'day. I'm the Easter Bunny. I know some of you haven't got Easter where you come from, but I promise I won't have that stop you if you want to get involved, everyone's welcome to this. For those of you that don't know what it is, it's simple.

[He holds up a little painted egg] This is an Easter Egg. On Easter morning, I hide these all over the place. Then it's your job to find them. You can eat 'em, too, they're chocolate. Nothing like the ones I can create back home, but I'll make sure they're still worth it. It's more fun than you can shake a stick at, and it'll bring you all some much needed hope, too.

[He grins, seemingly triumphant; though over what it's hard to tell.] Any questions?

[The city is all messed up again. Magic and mayhem and wars oh my, and Isaac is sitting on the front steps of the pet store, idly twisting up a piece of paper in his hands.]

Is anyone else starting to be seriously underwhelmed by the whole war stuff? I mean, I've got a feeling that we're all probably working on some serious cases of post traumatic stress or something, what with all the murders and evisceration and accidental suicides. A therapist would make a fortune here.

[Isaac shrugs, tearing the receipt in half, not really looking at the screen.] Anyway, I'm asking because the last time this city was attacked, I could barely be bothered to put on my snowshoes.

[He laughs, a little sardonically.]

Maybe that's just me.

I've been told that it's possible for a chair to have wheels on it, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to make one? I would like one, but I'm not sure how to go about getting one. I know I will have to pay for it, but maybe that is something we can work out later.

I just wouldn't mind being independent for a change.

Hello, everyone. I know it's been a long time but I've finally finished writing up all my notes about Asgard and everyone's worlds. I know it doesn't quite cover all the worlds that have been introduced here but it's a start! If you'd like to add anything then, please, let me know as soon as you're able.

[ She smiles, softly, expression bright. She's very proud of herself, really, and more than glad that she's finally able to contribute something solid and real to Asgard. She's finally able to put all her research together and actually show it to her friends and acquaintances and, maybe, actually help them in the long run. ]

It's a digital file, so I think you should all be able to access it using your bracelets. If you have any problems then, please, let me know and I'll do whatever I can to help.

[Sam hasn't posted on the network in awhile -- a month and a half, to be precise -- mostly because he's been busy. He's moved, he's working a lot, he's been dealing with his own... particular brand of issues.

But Asgard is having difficulty. Odin is in a coma and while Sam might hate the annoying pretentious prick, that's most definitely not a good sign. And while before Sam couldn't rationalize in his head that the end of this world meant the end of others -- now, it's a possibility, something he can't ignore.

He wants to stay here. He wants to stay, badly.

To do that, Sam needs to reach out and touch base on his resources.]

Hi, Asgard.

[He makes this speech too often, but it's gotten him a lot of good friends out of the deal. Information is pretty priceless, after all.]

I'm Sam Winchester. Some of you might've been given my guide to the gods upon arrival, so -- if you have any questions concerning this world, the powers you've been given, or what's happened here so far, you can ask me.

[He pauses.]

I usually don't ask for things in return, but -- how are the state of your worlds, at home, before you came here? Good, bad? Spectacularly awful? On the brink of collapse or the height of prosperity? I'm just... wondering.

[ From all haggard appearance, he's quite hungover. Then again, so's half the city. Jaime slouches, unamused, against the back wall of the stables. Petals tangle in his rumpled hair, and one particularly loud orchid looks to have been actually knotted into place. ]

When we've all recovered, I've two questions. Three, if you feel generous.

Well, aren't you a perfect busybody! [ The orchid snaps, as Jaime casts his eyes skyward, imploring. ] Back in my day, rude little weeds like you didn't just trample all over, making everything their business! Back in my day --

[ Without warning, his hand leaps up to snatch the flower, crumpling around it tight. It wiggles and thrashes in his palm, but Jaime only grips tighter, until at last the struggling quiets. With a wary motion, he slowly lets go. The orchid hangs limp. ]

-- First. Many of us seem to have received a gift. If you will speak of it, I would ask what you received.

My second question is the graver. In your homes, what laws and systems govern men? What actions are crimes, and what measures taken against the criminal?

They ought to call you a criminal! [ Squeaks the orchid, faint and indignant. ] Ruffian! Knave!

[It'd been gnawing at her for a while, the attitudes she'd seen here at Asgard. It wasn't that it gnawed in the sense of "I can't believe they think this way." It was more that she couldn't fathom how prevalent the 'working together despite different pasts or old rivalries' sentiment seemed to run through everyone. It wasn't how she was raised, and frankly she thought they were all collectively idiots.

So, today, she felt like saying so.]

So, tell me, if one of you idiots can manage the feat. When did the giant drum circle of love and forgiveness start around here? What is it about the people here that makes them want to put aside their old rivalries, or any reasons they have not to trust people? And don't tell me we're all in a war, and we're on the same side.

I haven't bought that line yet, and I don't plan on it anytime soon. Maybe I'll fight the giants, maybe I won't. Might just watch you jackasses burn to the ground. That could be lots of fun right before I croak.

No, I want to know why you all started trusting people you barely know or your worst enemies from your won worlds, put aside your feuds and decided to pretend to all be one big, giant, happy family, because that's the biggest joke I've seen since I got here.

001 | Video | Winter Holiday Announcement from your friendly neighborhood Guardians

[And in case Asgard wasn't sick of all the Christmas sweaters, the feed clicks back on to a slightly familiar sight - the Guardians' apartment above the ice rink. The place looks like it's seen better days - papers scattered and craft supplies littering the area in some direction or another. The Guardians themselves are sitting around their couch. Jack, in true monkey fashion as always, is somehow balancing himself on the back of the couch. A large man dressed in red is sitting in the center of the seats - looking oddly proud of himself as he fiddles with the screen some more. He's also sporting a nice shoulder decoration - a certain tiny Sandy sleeping away without any sign of moving at all. At the man's side, Jamie is sitting with his brand new sweater and bouncing a little on his seat with his one-eyed stuffed rabbit. A lady's voice (Tooth's) can be heard in the distance of the other room - chattering on to herself about something involving spreadsheets or another. The man finally quits moving the damn thing and turns to Jack and Sandy's direction.] You see! No problems! I can set up videos without help!

[Jack arches an eyebrow, trying to play the "not impressed" card, but he's obviously amused. Let's see how long it takes him to spam North with emoticons in the future... right now it's time to get all Guardian up.] I'll tell the kids to draw you a gold star later. Can we get this going? There's snow outside waiting to be thrown at people's faces.

[Jamie looks over at the visible Guardians with excitement. He tugs on North's sleeve urgently.] Tell them! Tell them!

Bah! Snow will wait for few more minutes! This is great news! [North chuckles a bit and pats Jamie on the head before finally focusing on the screen in front of him. The jolly old man is containing his excitement about as bad as Jamie at this point.] We are celebrating Christmas at Asgard this year!! [Wait wait. Hold it North. How about actually explaining first?]

[Jack glares at North. Did he just seriously say snow can wait? This is a sin. A tragedy. And he's ready to tell him exactly what an offense that was, but Jamie jumps in before he can even open his mouth. Literally, he jumps in by jumping up to stand on the couch.] It's not just Christmas! We're going to celebrate all of the winter holidays!

But! Christmas comes first. [Yes, North can't help adding that it. They all may have decided to celebrate all the winter holidays but nothing is stopping the man from being absurdly proud of his own. Still Jamie's outburst finally reminds North why they're here so he's straightening up in his seat (Sandy may have rolled a little at the movement). Guardian time ladies and gentlemen.] Explanations are in order. We have all been stranded here for some time - some more than others. However!

But since the evet where he was able to see his future, Kaworu has been asking himself about this. He has his own answer, of course, but he is also rather curious about other people ]

What would you do, if you were born into the world to meet one person and live for them? What would you do if you were meant to die soon after you have met them, if you knew you’d die for them and realize that your time was far shorter than you’d have hoped? And what if that became an unending cycle of rebirth and death, always meant to meet that person and to die for them, short time after you two meet? And in each new cycle, you will remember everything you have lived and all the cycles that have gone by, but this person won’t remember you at all and you will be a stranger. What would you do if you loved them so much and you knew that your sacrifice is necessary for them to find a world they will be born into, a world of happiness and not of suffering and pain? Even if you don’t know when it will happen, even if you die again and again until you forget how many times it happened. What would you do? Would you give up? Would your determination be so strong that you’d be able to accept everything for this person? How far would you be willing to go?

Hello.

[Since he's got a few things to send in private, why not go for broke and address the entire population. Projects are buzzing in his mind.]

I'm Souji Seta, and in house Sigyn. While I haven't been here for long, if anyone has questions regarding the city, I've been studying maps and locations whenever I've had free time. [His head is in the books when he's got a minute off, ~~he kinda needs to keep his mind off things~~ that's how he rolls.]

I've been thinking about what has happened recently, and while I was able to find information about the gods made by someone else, I don't see any guides to the city itself. The stores and services some of you own that could be useful to add as well.

Whenever we have new people coming here - along with Loki's, having a guide could give them a better understanding of what's happening and the history so far. [And in easier terms, sorry Loki.]

By pooling our resources together, I believe we can truly make something impressive. [Sorry, protags gotta protag.] As I've said, I've only been here for a short time myself, but I know some of you have been here since the first day. I would appreciate it greatly if you could share your knowledge with us.

I'll spearhead the information collecting myself, so simply leave me a message with what you know or businesses you have and their open and closing hours, and I'll work on a document we could easily pass around.

Hello! My name is Remus Lupin; I've been here for a while, but this is my first time posting here, so, er, hello. I've a few questions, if you don't mind answering:

Firstly, how many of you aren't human originally? Vampires, werewolves, succubi, veela, angels, et cetera. And if you are, how did coming to Asgard change you, in terms of your physiology?

Secondly! How many of you come from worlds that have time travel? And if so, what are their rules regarding changing things around via time? How many of you have met people from your significant past or future?

Obviously, I'll respect everyone's privacy; if you respond privately, I absolutely will not tell anyone what you've written-- which, I know you don't know me, but my word seems to be one of the few things I have left in Asgard.

[ It's only been two weeks since Goku has arrived in Asgard, and thanks to dealing with Natives trying to murder him in some kind of alternate world, there hasn't been much time to actually address Asgard at large.

It's been plenty of time, however, to settle into Thor House. ]

Do we gotta live by ourselves? Not that the room isn't nice or nothin' [ because it really is! ] but...

[ He'd told the Sheriff he was doing alright by himself, and he is. But since he's been with Konzen, it seems like forever ago that he would sleep on the mountain with no one else there. Even then, there were the animals making noise around him. ]

It's quiet an' the bed's too big an' there's no one to tell me stories when I have t' sleep.

Konzen isn't here yet [ Goku has no doubt whatsoever that he'll show up eventually. ] so it's reeeeally empty.

Not that I intend to argue that belonging to House Odin isn't worth some sort of respect in Asgard's hierarchy. Seeing Odin is the ruler of Asgard, top of the godly food chain.

I suppose that if I had to be kidnapped by Norse Gods to fight a war I have a dubious relation to, the silver lining is definitely being in the house of the ruler who is often associated with a relentless search of power and is probably the first one to inspire that saying about knowledge and power which you all know by heart.

All of that said – a spiral slide in house Odin? Is basically like placing a ball pit in the middle of Oxford Library. It's not an oxymoron, Asgard, make no mistake. It's a Juxtaposition; and not even an impressive one, at that.
