♛ 9th Curious Thought || Day 397 [Video]
[It's early in the morning, Asgard. The feed starts with a young woman, clearly older, though there is something familiar about her, looking for all the world unamused. She is pinning up her hair.]
I do see Asgard hasn't changed too drastically in its notions of abducting someone without much notice, lady or otherwise.
[She finally finishes the task of her hair, mumbling something about "not even in proper attire" though some of it is a little too softly muttered to understand.]
Regardless, 15 years, I dare say, is a good deal to let someone away only to have insist upon their return, to the same house, I see. I would have nearly forgotten this place with another year, I'm sure.
[She quirks a brow. She's remembering bits and pieces, and is surprised, if internally, at the fact that she's apparently in her "old room." She's not even sure who is and isn't here anymore. Dragons, mayhaps, never age, so Marigold resting his head in her lap is not as much of indicator as she would like.]
Well then, I suppose, what have I missed, Asgard? If there is indeed something to have been missed. I recall Asgard's relationship with Time has always been something questionable.
[OOC: SO! Alice has been cursed to believe she was sent home for 15 years and brought back to Asgard as a now 22 year old. In actuality, she's just been aged up and hasn't left Asgard at all, she is in fact, mentally 22 though.]

Alice ...?
[ 15 years? Is that-- She'd be 22 then. Permanently? But that's her room. Since when have people come back to their room? And if she was sleeping, would she have changed at all? He doesn't know how far the gods can take the sleeping thing. No one's slept to live 15 years back home.
Might be temporary, he supposes, but ... ]

Hello, Doctor. Been some time, but I certainly remember you. Goodness, but you haven't changed a day.

She's shaking just a little, hoping for something to reassure her that... she did not become like her. Alice isn't even that upset, no, as long as she's not like her.]

I'm afraid not much would change in a day.

Alice? [She's older, yes, but there are traces of the same eight year old girl that she recognizes.]
I don't think it's been fifteen years. We haven't seen eachother in awhile, but I know it hasn't been fifteen years.

Or maybe the gods are getting worse about dropping people, but better at picking them up again.]
Alice... well...
Goodness, how you've grown.
[Well done, Eight. When all else fails, state the obvious.]

Hello, Doctor. [Let's see if she can recall their nicknames...] And yes, fifteen years tends to demand growing. I should find something far more worrisome should I stay physically seven after fifteen years.

And yet, no one has been willing to tell me what exactly I haven't missed. What is only a day or so for you, is still fifteen years for me.

[ well, judging by everyone else's replies, she knows that this is, in fact, Alice Liddell. and it's a little surreal, almost like meeting her son for the first time at the same age as herself. only Alice is older? ..and not actually her daughter, no, but she did sort of see her as someone to look out for, at least. it's a tiny bit bizarre. she's older than her now. ]
The city sent you home for all that time?

It would seem the gods felt it, mayhaps not necessary, but certainly something they did. Who can say?

Severus has a look of barely constrained bewilderment on his tired face. Tired and haggard from lack of sleep and residual shock from what had happened to him in Alfheim.
He's a little speechless, not to mention confused. Hence, a silent stare.]
