While there are many myths throughout my life I have found to have a root in truth, I had not expected Asgard to be a place I would ever visit. Being fresh from my home world, I long to return. From what I've been lead to understand, frequent and consistent social interaction is the most basic of ways to ensure that happens. And so I reach out to you, fellow victims.
I have read some of what's available to view on this network. It seems as though possessions occurred recently, and a grave tragedy was involved. I would like to offer my condolences to the respective parties. And while I understand the need to focus on lighter things in the wake of such tragedy, it disturbs me greatly to know that this Thiazi is capable of such things while all of our native powers have been replaced. How are we to defend ourselves against an assault on the mind stripped of the very capabilities needed to do so?
I understand this is not a choice for Asgard's gods, but I challenge them: you are the ones who brought us in; you are the reason we are here. How do you plan to defend us against further assault? We are a precious resource to you. Surely, we are worth defending. Surely, we are worth taking action for instead of simply waiting for reaction to be necessary, and then stepping in. Surely, you have a plan.

You know me well. It's apparent in the way you speak, so much so that you couldn't very well hide it despite your attempts. What you lack for in subtlety you make up for in outright foolishness.
I don't fear you. I doubt I ever will. I would repeat your warning, only towards you, except that I imagine your answer would be similar to mine. Although it might help if you specified what it is you have I need to fear.

It hits him in a strange way. Surely, Harry is using past tense on purpose, to get under his skin, because he knows Voldemort so well. That is exactly what Harry is saying now, that he has knowledge thanks to Voldemort's actions. He knows that referring to him in the past tense would get under his skin, would illicit a reaction from him.
But that does not mean it isn't based on truth. Perhaps it's an unconscious change in the way Harry is referring to him... But perhaps not... No, there is no need to doubt, no good comes from doubting his destiny. He knows what his goals are, and he knows he has the means to achieve them. In fact, he already has, he only needs to finish and complete his plans.
Still, he needs to know. He cannot let this hang in uncertainty, cannot let it fester in his mind (for it surely would).
That was always the problem.
Is Harry speaking of his demise? Is Harry hinting that he had knowledge of his Horcruxes, that he was able to destroy them due to Voldemort's underestimation of Harry? That he refused to fear the boy and thus foolishly gave him the knowledge he needed to do just that?
Dread, cold and harsh begins to creep into him, but he shakes it off, does not allow it to take hold. The implications speak of it, and yet, it simply cannot be.]
Tenses, Harry.
[He attempts to come off gently chiding, almost teasing, because surely Harry had made a mistake. He does not delve into the fear that Harry has already managed to rile up in Voldemort. He refuses to let the boy see, refuses to give into what Harry said would be a wise course of action. And yet, he is certain that if Harry has so much knowledge of him, perhaps he already knows what his reaction would be.]

Liar.
video | private | feed end
What he does do is pull his sleeve back and turn on the video function to show Voldemort those words, the ones permanently embedded in his arm. I must not tell lies. He doesn't smile, there's no room for confidence or arrogance.
And then the feed ends, the connection ends.
He's done here.]
