While there are many myths throughout my life I have found to have a root in truth, I had not expected Asgard to be a place I would ever visit. Being fresh from my home world, I long to return. From what I've been lead to understand, frequent and consistent social interaction is the most basic of ways to ensure that happens. And so I reach out to you, fellow victims.

I have read some of what's available to view on this network. It seems as though possessions occurred recently, and a grave tragedy was involved. I would like to offer my condolences to the respective parties. And while I understand the need to focus on lighter things in the wake of such tragedy, it disturbs me greatly to know that this Thiazi is capable of such things while all of our native powers have been replaced. How are we to defend ourselves against an assault on the mind stripped of the very capabilities needed to do so? 

I understand this is not a choice for Asgard's gods, but I challenge them: you are the ones who brought us in; you are the reason we are here. How do you plan to defend us against further assault? We are a precious resource to you. Surely, we are worth defending. Surely, we are worth taking action for instead of simply waiting for reaction to be necessary, and then stepping in. Surely, you have a plan.

[ Moriarty has always been the thinker of the duo. He's the one who spends hours stooped over plans and working out the kinks to make certain that they work. Moran does little more than carry out orders--usually putting his own twist on things. Thinking on his feet is something he's good at; thinking ahead and exerting patience is not his strong suit. ]

I'm sorry to say, patience ain't ever been my job. For all your rambling, you seem an intelligent fellow, though. The sort who prefer sums over sensation. [ The sort that would make a good replacement Moriarty. ] What sort of grand ideas have you got gestating in that head of yours, eh?

The sort to remind these complacent travelers of the danger of growing accustomed to peace. The sort that will take their moments of rest and turn them on their head; remind them of the ever present threat. If we are to accomplish, we must move past purely reactionary measures. We must insist upon an offense past basic defensive measures, upon organization, and if we must instigate more threats in order to do that... Then very well.

You are correct about me, Sebastian. I would be interested in working together, if you would be willing to help carry out my vision.

[ U g h you talk a lot, Voldemort. Luckily, so does Professor Moriarty. It's almost like being home again. ]

Fear is a powerful motivator, and those who live here without it need to rethink their existence. My vision is one where the travelers brought here are brought to better themselves constantly until we are able to reach our goal. Compliance is not something we can allow them to fall into, and betterment is often bred in conflict. Conflict that may spring from an outside source or may need to be spurred on by our own actions. 

That would be where you would come in, my friend. Your role would be to keep things from becoming dull.

I wager you can count me in, old chap.
