While there are many myths throughout my life I have found to have a root in truth, I had not expected Asgard to be a place I would ever visit. Being fresh from my home world, I long to return. From what I've been lead to understand, frequent and consistent social interaction is the most basic of ways to ensure that happens. And so I reach out to you, fellow victims.

I have read some of what's available to view on this network. It seems as though possessions occurred recently, and a grave tragedy was involved. I would like to offer my condolences to the respective parties. And while I understand the need to focus on lighter things in the wake of such tragedy, it disturbs me greatly to know that this Thiazi is capable of such things while all of our native powers have been replaced. How are we to defend ourselves against an assault on the mind stripped of the very capabilities needed to do so? 

I understand this is not a choice for Asgard's gods, but I challenge them: you are the ones who brought us in; you are the reason we are here. How do you plan to defend us against further assault? We are a precious resource to you. Surely, we are worth defending. Surely, we are worth taking action for instead of simply waiting for reaction to be necessary, and then stepping in. Surely, you have a plan.

Somewhat. The gods aren’t so open with this place’s past, and there aren’t any books in the library about what happened. A lot of what we learned, we heard from the gods themselves. I’m—working on a guide to the city, actually. A friend of mine started it before he…was sent home. It’s nearly done, and I didn’t want all his work to go to waste.

The attacks have been happening since the beginning, yeah. They’re not all similar, but they’re still attacks.

I would be most interested in seeing the final product when you finish. I take it I should keep an eye on this network for when it will be finished?

That is troubling to hear. Even more troubling that the gods seem to be powerless against such occurrences.

Yeah, I’ll put it on the network so everyone can see it when I’m done. It just might take me a while since, you know. [He makes a vague gesture at the screen.] Cleaning up after what happened.

As for the gods…they do what they can. [He can’t complain about them too much since some of them have helped him before.]
