While there are many myths throughout my life I have found to have a root in truth, I had not expected Asgard to be a place I would ever visit. Being fresh from my home world, I long to return. From what I've been lead to understand, frequent and consistent social interaction is the most basic of ways to ensure that happens. And so I reach out to you, fellow victims.

I have read some of what's available to view on this network. It seems as though possessions occurred recently, and a grave tragedy was involved. I would like to offer my condolences to the respective parties. And while I understand the need to focus on lighter things in the wake of such tragedy, it disturbs me greatly to know that this Thiazi is capable of such things while all of our native powers have been replaced. How are we to defend ourselves against an assault on the mind stripped of the very capabilities needed to do so? 

I understand this is not a choice for Asgard's gods, but I challenge them: you are the ones who brought us in; you are the reason we are here. How do you plan to defend us against further assault? We are a precious resource to you. Surely, we are worth defending. Surely, we are worth taking action for instead of simply waiting for reaction to be necessary, and then stepping in. Surely, you have a plan.

You would do well not to do underestimate me. If that is truly all you are after, then there is no need to dawdle. Leave.

And you would do well not to underestimate those of us who have the advantage over you. I'd keep that in mind if I were you.

Even so, spell it out for me. I might have missed a detail or two.

The advantage those of us who have been here ages has over everyone else, of course.

[He is going to murder you, Draco. Slowly. Painfully. And then once you're revived he is going to do so again. And again. And again.]

You do enjoy being a tease, don't you?

I wouldn't call it so much being a tease as knowing my limits versus everyone else's.

And holding it over our heads in the hopes that the limits will remain static and unchanging? That is not the way to make friends, Draco.

Who said I was interested in making friends? I'm more interested in the challenge. [Or he's suicidal and has a giant death wish, who knows.]

Yet you so clearly spoke of having an advantage over those who are newer. Are you to say you find those very people, who do not possess this advantage, to be a fair challenge to you?

I'm also not talking about what's fair and isn't fair. I'm talking about finding those who are up for the challenge and those who have skillsets to offer despite only just arriving.

Shall I be honored to know that you decided to test the waters and see if I have a skill set to offer? See if I possess the will to follow through despite my recent arrival? Forgive me if I'm not falling over myself with gratitude at your recognition.

I wouldn't consider it an honor, no. But good luck making progress.

Luck will have nothing to do with it.
