While there are many myths throughout my life I have found to have a root in truth, I had not expected Asgard to be a place I would ever visit. Being fresh from my home world, I long to return. From what I've been lead to understand, frequent and consistent social interaction is the most basic of ways to ensure that happens. And so I reach out to you, fellow victims.
I have read some of what's available to view on this network. It seems as though possessions occurred recently, and a grave tragedy was involved. I would like to offer my condolences to the respective parties. And while I understand the need to focus on lighter things in the wake of such tragedy, it disturbs me greatly to know that this Thiazi is capable of such things while all of our native powers have been replaced. How are we to defend ourselves against an assault on the mind stripped of the very capabilities needed to do so?
I understand this is not a choice for Asgard's gods, but I challenge them: you are the ones who brought us in; you are the reason we are here. How do you plan to defend us against further assault? We are a precious resource to you. Surely, we are worth defending. Surely, we are worth taking action for instead of simply waiting for reaction to be necessary, and then stepping in. Surely, you have a plan.

I assure you I understand the difference between pessimism and realism well, my Lady, and the latter is much appreciated, as well as your frankness.

A pleasure, Lady Morgana of Camelot.
[And now, he smiles, even though she cannot see. Despite being powerless, despite putting on a polite air that isn't really Him, despite the aggravating situation of powerlessness, despite not getting to choose, he cannot deny an inherent sort of glee at being able to introduce himself as he would like, and to Lady Morgana no less. It's a strange sort of mixing of emotions, of frustration that he is not yet ready to out himself as the Dark Lord he wishes to be, and yet, here it has little consequence. Here, he can use this name, and in fact has to (but he doesn't dwell on that fact). Here, there's no tiptoeing around, trying to find the right way to become. Here there are entirely different rules, and one of those rules insists on this name.]
I am Lord Voldemort.

I would, of course. Perhaps we could meet without the need for them, as I confess myself interested in hearing more about your experiences.

I would be most interested in hearing to any of what you have to tell, no matter how illogical it seems.
[He switches the communication line to private.]
Shall we decide upon a time and place?

Noon in four days' time.
[That is, day 342, after the festival ends. He intends to visit the library prior to this happening, to see what he can find out and to compare the knowledge he may receive there to the knowledge she has.]Gefion, should you find it agreeable.

Until then, my Lady.
[ooc: did you want to thread this out? we could do a log or do it in one of these two's inboxes.]

my lord.
[ ooc; both would be 100% fine with me! ]
