003 愛 Video

[When the feed starts, there's Inara sitting on her couch, nursing a cup of tea. She looks a little washed out, tired even, but such is the effect of having been gray for however long she'd been. She is slowly getting more color in her cheeks, so for that, she is most grateful.

She lowers the cup and offers a small smile.]

Nǐmén hǎo. Seems many are coming back from unexpected... uncoloring. [She frowns slightly because that just does not even sound right. But, it's what had happened to many.]

I'm not entirely certain how long I was not myself, but it would be nice to know what I've missed in my absence. Perhaps someone would be kind enough to fill me in?

I hope the two of you are well and staying out of trouble. Perhaps we could all meet up, maybe for dinner?

If you wish so, my-....Inara. [He says with a curt nod, his cheeks flushing lightly as he makes a mistake already. No doubt there will be a few more, seeing as she seems the lady-type like, even if she doesn't hold that title.]

I've been here close to two turns of the moon. [A pause.] Two months. [He really needs to learn to speak in more modern ways.]

I'm sorry. You must miss your home greatly. [Inara finds his old fashioned speech and manners quite charming. It's not often that she's run across someone like him, even in Asgard, and truly, she can only think of one or two.]

I do, at times. But I am blessed with the presence of family here, so I can not complain too vividly. [He smiles fondly: he truly does consider himself lucky to have both Arya and Robb here with him.]

I do not mind at all. I come from the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. I was born in the North, and I was at the Wall before being brought here. Might I ask the same of you?

I'd have to agree with you being blessed. Some are not so lucky. But some of us are blessed enough to have people from our homes here instead.

[She does find herself lucky to have Simon and Mal there with her... Even though she's certain she'll forever be confused by her feelings for Mal.]

I've not heard of Westeros, I'm sorry to say. But I come from a planet called Shinon and had only recently returned there from an extended amount of time spent on-board a ship called Serenity.
