[When the feed starts, there's Inara sitting on her couch, nursing a cup of tea. She looks a little washed out, tired even, but such is the effect of having been gray for however long she'd been. She is slowly getting more color in her cheeks, so for that, she is most grateful.

She lowers the cup and offers a small smile.]

Nǐmén hǎo. Seems many are coming back from unexpected... uncoloring. [She frowns slightly because that just does not even sound right. But, it's what had happened to many.]

I'm not entirely certain how long I was not myself, but it would be nice to know what I've missed in my absence. Perhaps someone would be kind enough to fill me in?

I hope the two of you are well and staying out of trouble. Perhaps we could all meet up, maybe for dinner?

You can look back on the network and judge for yourself. Just look for the video of me calling my girlfriend a kidnapper. [ Scott cringes. ] I'm lucky Allison is so forgiving.

[She chuckles. She can only imagine.] I think in this place we must learn to make a good many concessions concerning behavior.

But I shall certainly have to go back and see this for myself.

[ If she does look back and decide he's precious, just don't tell him to his face or he'll die of embarrassment. ]

No trouble at all. I can pick it up for you after work. What kind of tea?

Thank you, that's very kind of you. A blend of lemon and lavender would be preferred, but if that isn't available then chamomile would be lovely.

Lemon and lavender or chamomile... [Scott writes that down.] I'll call round your room later.

[ Being in the room next to hers in Freya means he doesn't have to go out of his way to see her. After work he fetches her tea and knocks on her door. ]

[She's been expecting his visit for a while, and it doesn't take her long to answer the door once he's knocked on it.]

Scott. [She smiles warmly at him and steps back so he can enter.] Please, come in.

Hey. [ Scott happily steps inside. ] So I got you chamomile as well as the the lemon and lavender blend. I know you wanted one or the other but this way you won't run out of tea for a while. [ He holds out a bag for her containing both teas. ]

Oh. [She looks pretty surprised and after a moment, smiles brightly.] That's very sweet of you, thank you. [She takes the bag from him.] How much do I owe you?

Nothing. Consider the tea a welcome back present.

Truly? [She leans in and kisses his cheek. She draws back, grinning.] You are very sweet, thank you. This and before with the offer of a pet? You do too much. Your girlfriend is a very lucky woman.
