oo3. [video]
[The video opens on a grey outdoor scene. Conan's beaming broadly at the screen. He's wearing what should be a uniform jacket on a grown man but on Conan is more like a ankle length coat. He also has a matching cap that looks like it belongs to the 1950s. The reason for this quickly becomes clear.]
I have a job! It's not a very exciting or special -- but I got one! I'm delivering things for the post office in Hel! I'm still learning my way around the city, so if you see me somewhere looking lost, help me out okay? As a thank you, I'll deliver stuff for you too!
Oh, and if you're heading outside today, make sure you've got a scarf and gloves! I think it's getting even colder out here.

[Yes, she's totally playing now.]

Does she sound like you?

But yes, we have almost the exact same voice. Since our personalities are pretty different, it's relatively easy to tell who's talking, but it's still pretty interesting, right?

I didn't think we sounded alike but everyone else said she sounded just like me! And she was a singer too!
no subject
Oh? Did they say who it was? I'd like to hear this singer that sounds like Conan-kun, too! I'll be the judge on whether or not you two sound alike, since I knew you before her.

Ah, it's Takayama Minami-san from the band Two-Mix! She's not here -- at least, I don't think she's here! But my friends and I met her in Tokyo once.
no subject
Ah... I think I heard her once or twice. I think the band's called Mix Delta now?
[And she thinks about it for a minute, and...]
Maybe my memory's playing tricks on me, but I don't think you sound that close.
[Then again, she's doing it from memory of a band she never really paid much attention to outside of conversations, so.]

Similar personal situations?
Ah, it's only her speaking voice! Singing, we're nothing alike.

[Why hello! This is me retconning my previous statement of 2005 to 2006 because I missed one line mentioning that the little bit of information I used to determine the year happened a year ago!]
Well, it's not entirely my place to say, since it's personal, but basically she went through something close to what I did, except for her it was music instead of art.
[Which reminds her to get back to find that sketch of her. She'll keep talking while she looks, though.]
Ah, that makes sense! I somehow can't picture you singing, Conan-kun.

I think I understand. Maybe the gods want strength to overcome difficulties?
Ah, I'm not as bad as everyone says, I've got perfect pitch! I just can't hear it when I sing.

It makes sense, but the assortment of people varies quite a bit, so it's hard to make any guarantees there, either. Still, how should I put it... Me and Kisaragi-san were born under the same star? That's the kind of feeling I get from her.
...I never heard anyone saying you were bad at singing, but with that description I get the feeling that you should never try to sing.

Born under the same star? I guess it makes sense you're an artist -- that's really pretty.
Don't worry! I try to avoid it.
