007 - Video

[The video comes on to show a red-head, irritated and staring up at what looks like an overhanging sign in front of a shop door. The walls of the brick building are covered in vines, vine as far as the eye can see. They don't actually lead into the building, since she keeps the windows boarded up, but there's a lush sort of wildgrowth that covers every inch of the visible world.

She turns towards the camera angle and growls, making a twitching face of irritation.]

Ok, could all the folks in Sigyn please not use this week as their chance to practice their powers? Enough already with the plants! This is getting just a little ridiculous here, and I'm thinking of changing the name "Pinch of Sage" to "Heart of the Amazon."

Anyone got any weed killer, or at the very least, any idea how to stop this little prank from getting more out of hand than it already is?

I agree, so yes, it's best to keep busy...although it must be hard to work in these conditions.

Keeping good tabs on what plants are available has helped, but there's a lot of things I'd like to have around here that I don't. I wouldn't say working's harder here, but it's a challenge.

And are any of these plants that have sprung up useful to you in some way? Medically, or...?

Yeah, most of the ones I've found so far are good for protecting from curses, stamina and some lighter healing. I'm working on specific ways to make use of them.

Although I don't know much about herbalism, examining the flora here might help healing in this place, like you said, so this can only be a good thing...

There's fire blossoms that are good for that sort of thing. I don't have many of them, but they and a few others are useful for helping out with healing. I'm hoping that will help take some of the work away from the healers on the minor stuff.

Ah...that's excellent news. If there's to be more injury in the future...we should be co-ordinating our resources so that people can return to health as soon as possible.

Yeah, definitely coordinating with the healers and storing up as much of this as I possibly can so we've got plenty to work with. I fully expect we'll need everything we can get.

Yes, I trust you'll keep a good stock of these plants. When that time comes...I'll work as hard as I can to make sure everything is running smoothly.

Yeah, in the meantime, all we need's a good machete and for this crap to stop growing finally. It's definitely not helping organizing efforts.

Trolls are weird. She had a tube of lipstick that turned into a chainsaw. I saw her trimming bushes with it back on Arbor Day. With them, it's best just to sort of nod and let it go.

Are they the grey people I've seen around? I talked to one on the network a while back.

Yep. They come in all styles, but they're all pretty much gray-skinned. Kind of violent too, except for a couple of them.

Violent? I didn't get that impression...that person was just a little unfamiliar with things.

If it was Feferi or Tavros, they're the nice ones. Not a violent bone in their bodies, especially Tavros. The others all have a real violent streak. You should see Eridan when he gets pissed off. [She shuddered a little and actually blushed, glancing away.] Gamzee just bashed me over the head one time, though I admit I kind of egged him on.

The one I talked to...he had glasses, and a streak in his hair. Was he the one who hit you?

[She colored again and, when she grinned, her fangs were visible. A giggle built in her throat and she looked over at the screen again.]

No, no. That's Eridan. He and I... heh, let's just say he's pretty violent too. Fin-face is just more cunning about it. Those teeth of his are really sharp, I promise.

[Rule of thumb, probably not the best idea to ask why she was giggling and blushing as she said this.]

Maybe I was lucky, then. He seemed nice to me.

Heh, I actually like that side about him. Maybe we're both lucky. You just get his cheesy, goofy silly side. Me? Well, we get to play around with our toys and get some aggression out.
