so, er, it’s kind of apparent that rising water’s kind of traumatic for velige. ever since the water first started rising, he’s been feeling a distinctly uncomfortable. a sort of an ashamed disquietude. and while it’s no different from his usual pokerface, it apparently bothers him enough to the point where he’s willing to send a message out to the network in an attempt to assuage his uncertainty. ]
I need a favour. Define whats it like feelin sad.
Or tell me a sad story.
Doesn’t matter if it’s real or made-up or whatever. Slong as its supposed tmake people feel something.

Damien thinks about this for a bit, because it's actually kind of scary. One second, you're normal. Then the next... You're not who you were just a moment ago--
That kind of thing sends a shiver up his spine. He wonders if the same thing will happen to him eventually because the seal was loose and covered in a halfassed manner just because he turned back into a kid. It was really like putting a used band-aid on a wet surface--it wouldn't possibly stick as good as it did before.

it's times like these that he realizes maybe it was better to have died entirely instead of... showing up here broken. he'd suspected that he shorted out his personality drives when he self-destructed, but it seems like whatever that hastily fixed it did a patchwork job. it could almost make him frustrated, if it weren't for the stark knowledge that if he became frustrated, he might short out again. emotions. walking time bombs. getting rewritten.
