I've got a question for the people-countries here. Or the country-people. Is there something you prefer to be called? I don't want to be rude, but I still don't really understand everything about it yet.

[An urgent look.]

But Spain said that sometimes, when a country is gone, the person just disappears! Is that true? Is it like dying, or do they go somewhere else? It doesn't seem right, for a person to just disappear into thin air after existing. I mean, I know no one lasts forever, but that's different from going 'poof.'

If you could answer me, I'd really appreciate it. I want to understand more about this.

And do any of you know Japan? What's he like?

No. [ Tavros scratches the back of his neck. ] I'm a little over, six sweeps. And, uhh, my caste usually only live, a little over a dozen or two. Trolls like me, brown bloods, and, under, don't live nearly as long as a blue blood would, even if we were not culled...

Yeah. [ He wiggles his metal toes. ] I mean, I guess. Uhh, the higher blooded trolls, don't really have the same powers we do, except for Vriska, that is. But, they always seem to be a bit stronger, and because they live so much longer, we don't really make that much of an impact. They can be in power for, a very long time.

I mean, uhh, Alternia's only ever had, one Empress.

It doesn't seem like a very fair system. The way you're born determines everything, including how long you'll live.

It's okay. It's true, after all. You can really be killed for, any reason, the lower your color is. I'm second, from the bottom, and Aradia was the very lowest. So, I can't really, complain...

It isn't right. Aradia is so nice... she shouldn't be a target because of something like that. And neither should you.
