[There is no voice immediately addressing the network when the feed comes on, nor does there seem to be anyone in the picture. All that fills the screen is a green mound, the centre of it moving in a steady rhythm for at least a full minute.

That is until a pale hand finally enters the screen and starts scratching at the fluff.]

[The pup gives a small whine of a yawn, sleepily opening his eyes... Only to give a start when he realizes something is off.

He scrambles to his feet, struggling to get a look at this thing around his neck. When the hell did they--]

[Yup, this is a very unhappy puppy. Eyes wasn’t exaggerating.]

[Meanwhile, another hand comes out to pat the puppy on the head in amusement, belonging to the owner of the lap he’d been dozing on. Ayumu’s face can’t be seen at this angle, but his voice can be heard clearly, and he seems to catch onto Hizumi’s thoughts even in this furry form.]

I think it would be better to ask every person we can.

[Judging by the way the dog snaps to attention right then, he’d have to disagree. He shifts to avoid Ayumu’s hand, clumsily stumbling off of Ayumu’s lap with a yelp. Damn it, how do you stay coordinated with four feet?]

Can you keep him from falling, Ayumu Narumi? No one can see him if he keeps falling over.

[And the last thing he wants to do is pay Hizumi's veterinary bills.]

[Ayumu bends down, scooping up the ball of fluff that indeed, is the same color as his friend’s hair.]

[Hizumi gives a disgruntled growl as he is scooped up, wriggling in a weak attempt to escape. Why must you two torment him so? He’ll never live this down...!]

I wonder if I should get a leash…..

[That gets Hizumi to freeze on the spot. Oh god someone save him.]

Hey, stop that. [Ayumu tugs his hand away as he sets Hizumi back down in his lap, but his chiding belies the amusement clear in his tone.]

I'm not sure if we can take you outside without a leash.... does this city have leash laws, Rutherford?

If there were ever any, I've ignored them. [If having Charles roam freely was any indication, but then again she is a perfectly well-behaved kitty.]

But perhaps he does warrant one, he seems like he would run off and try to hide.

Once again he leaves Ayumu's lap, pawing at that abomination of a collar. He'll hold off on hiding for now just because Eyes mentioned it, but this, at least, needs to come off right now.]

That's true.... I'll have to consider this more. [If only to drive Hizumi up the wall, that is. Ayumu reaches over towards Hizumi, offering him a bit of a scratch behind the ears.]

Wait, dammit, no. Although he may have paused for just the tiniest moment, he quickly ducks away from Ayumu's hand again, still trying his best to reach that collar and get it off. If he heard Eyes at all, he seems dead set on ignoring him entirely.

[Ayumu's little amused smile grows slightly at that pause, before he reaches over again and scoops Hizumi up.]

You can't do much about that without opposable thumbs, you know.

He's back to struggling against Ayumu's grip almost immediately, the whining and the wild flailing of limbs as ineffectual as ever. It's hard to say if it's pride or what, but he hasn't given up attempts to fight back, at least.]

[Ayumu tries to keep his grip, frowning a little.]

Calm down. If you keep this up, you'll fall.

Perhaps he wants to. [Which Eyes has no objections to either, Hizumi can do whatever he'd like.]

Or maybe just taking him for a walk is a solution.
