[Smiling brighter then the sun is a little magi. He had been fiddling around to prepare to perfect view for everyone to see his new friend. In his excitement he doesn’t notice he has turned on video a little too early. ]

Okay, Assel! I know it has been hard, but you’re finally ready to meet everyone. You know how to move about the city without squishing anyone, you haven’t stolen anything since the first day and you haven’t lost your temper.

[The only response he gets from this Assel is a low grunt, from off to the side. It doesn’t put Aladdin off in the least; he looks pretty pleased with the answer.]

You are definitely ready for this.

[Another grunt this one a little higher in tone. Aladdin couldn’t hold in his excitement at that, it was time to star-- it’s already on…Oops]

Oh…um...Assel, it looks like your big introduction has already started. [There is a slow grumble. ]

Hey everyone, I wanted you all to meet a friend of mine, he was actually my gift from home. I’ve been spending a lot of time making sure to get him settled before hand. He never been around people like this and it’s a lot different from where he’s lived before.

Anyway, enough about that, I’d like to introduce everyone to Assel, the dungeon bear. Assel say hello to everyone. [He turns his view over to the creature; the first thing anyone can see is its feet. Assel but other than that it looks like a fuzzy teddy bear. That is until it reached the face…its oddly cartoony in a disturbing way. It tilts its head slightly; there is glimpse of razor sharp teeth peeking out from its gaping maw.]

HELLO [It look like it can speak as well. Isn’t it the most delightful being? ]

Don’t worry he doesn’t eat people, he just like honey. So if you see him wandering around there is no need to freak out about it, he’s a real softy. [He certainly can’t go berserk here, Aladdin thinks to himself.]

HONEY? [Assel blinks down at the chibi with the mention of it’s favorite food. Aladdin goes over and pats the bear’s leg. ]

I’ll get you some in a second, no worries. [He switches the view to himself.] I have to go get another jug of honey for him. I'll by the guild if you need me.

[John just stares for a solid minute] So that... er, the bear is from your world?

He is, it was a real shock to see him here. He is suppose to be in Zagan dungeon.

That's got to be one huge dungeon.

I've only been in two dungeons, but there was more then enough room for him in the one he was in.

[Dungeons were odd like that, small entrances that contain huge city sized area.]

I'm not very familiar with dungeon bears. What is it they do, exactly?

Normally dungeon creatures act as a defense against intruders, in the dungeon Assel belong to it was a bit different. The creatures were mostly docile unless someone attack them first or the fake Zagan causing them to go berserk.

So other then that, he's normally just likes to sleep, eat, and explore his surroundings.

I'm sorry... You need to guard against intruders in the dungeons?

Of course, getting through a dungeon is a test of wit and might. If their was nothing guarding them, people could capture them rather quickly.

Ah, okay. I'm thinking your world's definition of "dungeon" is very different from mine. [unless they were talking Dungeons & Dragons. Then it would make sense for people to actually try getting into one]

[ She was already aware of Aladdin's new animal friend. And she remembered how the bear was back in the dungeon as well. Needless to say she was originally wary at first about Aladdin keeping the bear but, well, she knew she could trust him not to get himself in over his head. ... For the most part that is.

Switching on the video function of her bracelet she smiles, although she still a tad uncertain. It was still odd to see a dungeon animal in a place that wasn't a dungeon. ]

Do you have enough honey for him?

[One fact he is thankful for is that no one can effect Assel mood. Or at least no one would try it.]

For right now, I'd feel safer if he had more.

I can try finding a job and help with buying him honey?

Mor, you don't need to get a job just to get him honey.

I wouldn't mind though, especially if it will help.

How about this, instead of getting a job to get honey, why not just get a just for yourself? You can pitch with a bit of that to pay for the honey with me.

[ She takes a moment to consider this before agreeing to it by nodding her head. ] I can do that.

Great! By the way what sort of job are you going to do in the city?

Oh he really existed to be meeting new people.

He'll get a lot of chances for that here.

Certainly, being stuck in a dungeon he probably didn't see many people at all. [Now that Aladdin thinks about it, if Assel did see any humans on a daily basis they probably weren't too human at that point. ]
