Diary Entry 01 [video]

[John is standing near his new "house", fiddling with his bracelet. He's taken everything he's heard and let it sink in before finally seeing what this bracelet can do. He's familiar enough with smartphones and webcams that he gets the hang of it fairly quickly.

His eyes glance over his shoulder to Loki house, then back to the camera. He gives his audience a charming smile]

Can someone please explain to me why Loki's colors have to be orange? I know we serve under the god of mischief, but do we have to look so tacky doing it?

[Wow you guys, she doesn't need babysitters. She turns a glare at Damon for even bringing that up, since she wasn't even really supposed to tell him any details, and he keeps blabbing about it.]

I don't know if either of you have noticed, but I'm fine.

But at the moment, I'm more interested in hearing about Asgard than in talking about family history.

[Having died and come back three times now...yeah, that's completely accurate. She pushes at Damon's side, trying to give herself some space because she knows he's just doing that for show and it's obnoxious.]

Damon's actually been here quite a bit longer than I have, though I'm not sure how much he's been paying attention. Between the two of us, we could probably answer any questions you have.

Usually they're attacks on the city, and there's not a lot some of us can do.

[ Damon plans to keep an eye on Elena in the hopes that things like her getting herself killed won't ever happen again. It's bad enough her future sucks back home. Let's not have a repetition of that here. ]

[as much as John would love to keep an eye on Elena, he knows full well that she'll find a way to get in trouble. But he'll do his best to protect her as he always had.

To Damon's question, his eyebrows went up. He hadn't tried his power just yet, and Damon's phrasing led John to believe the former vampire was a telepath, too. That ought to be interesting]

Hearing thoughts would likely give one a headache after a while.

Damon has telekinesis, though he's not very good at it because he never practices.

Elena has body control and if you think it sounds kinky... [ Oh, wait. Uncle. Niece. Probably not the best joke. Oops. ]

You're able to level up if you want. I really don't see the point. [ He'll lean in to whisper the following in Elena's ear: ] You're so not fighting this war. [ He's so not bothered. Definitely still waiting for the day he gets his vampire abilities back though. Why can't the gods see how useful that would be in comparison? ]
