[ The feed opens on the face of a rather pretty young woman. ] Good day, fellow Travelers. If you do not mind, I have a few inquiries to make, if you do not mind.

First, I must ask about the work available here. [ It seems rather unfair to her after being dragged here and forced to help with this war, the gods will not give them whatever they desire to make them happy. She suspects the inability to leave Asgard is why people aren't vocal about this injustice. Better to just accept it, and not waste your breath. ] What jobs are available? Are certain experiences required in order to get one? [ She can't think that most of her skills would be needed here, but her nervousness doesn't show. ]

Second, I would like to practice my power, to be prepared in case of- certain events. [ Her eyes flick down at the ground at the moment. ] I have the healing power, and have not done much [read: anything] with it. Help would be much appreciated.

[ A final smile, and then the feed clicks off. ]

Kinda wish they'd have something like a board filled with job listings. Bet everyone sort of feels like parrots.

But if you can read or write, 'm sure a lot of shop keeps wouldn't mind your help. Especially if you're good at sums. Just going off of what employers look for in my home anyway.

That would be very useful. And I am capable at all of those things. Mayhaps this shall be easier than I thought.

[Most often she keeps her own bracelet on voice. Text is a trifle and she knows well enough about the judgments she gets under video. She isn't ashamed. She doesn't hide herself. She just prefers the ease that audio gives.]

I'm no healer, but I've heard of a place t'go where they do that sort o' thing. Called it a hospital. [When her telekinesis went off, she was hit by several flying objects. Most people told her to tend to her wounds there, though they were little enough that Ygritte could mind them on her own.

She's normally not so helpful regardless of the person. But these powers intrigue her somewhat, partially scare her, but interest her more.]

I have been there before. [ During the event as well, though fortunately before things got too out of hand. ] I'm sure those there can help me, but I wouldn't want to distract them from their jobs. [ Better to see who offers. ]

Hmm. [She's not much help then.]

It helps, with the healing. Probably worth knowing before you get down to it

And, the skills are transferable. You don't need the magic to put them to use.

[She's so excited about the talk of powers that she's grinning and bouncing, wings fluttering with her energy as she starts the video. There is a girl here who healed in her world as well as she does here - she has a shop of brews. Perhaps she will lend you aid.

This seems promising to me. Could you tell me of the girl or where this shop is located?

The only way you can know about job availability is asking around the city, the same for qualifications. Most places will have a two week training period, depending on where you ask.

Have you considered volunteering at the clinic? It wouldn't pay, but you could learn about healing and first aid that way.

Volunteering could be a good start. I assume this clinic is at the hospital in my district?

The hospital's a good place to learn. That's where most of the new healers go, and the native physicians there don't mind if you want to learn from them.

Er, I'd watch out for the head nurse, though. Matilda. She's a strict one.

What sort of practice are you thinking of, miss, because I do have this really annoying scratch on my arm that could use some healing. Even amateur healing. And I'd be more than happy to sit still and have you take a look at it. It would actually be my pleasure. Maybe even a bit of an honour.
