[This time, he takes his time, coming over in a half hour. He's unsure about how much he really wants to discuss, and even though its Jade and she's pretty harmless, he doesn't talk much about the specifics of his past.

Don't mind him not announcing his presence either.]

[ It's okay- there's a barking puppy there to alert him to her presence. She is staring at the oven, apparently baking something. ]

Hi! Thanks for coming over.

[Good puppy. Best... people alarm thing.

He's following that puppy into the kitchen, tilting his head at Jade's position.]

You're welcome, but... what are you doing?

[It smells like baking, but she said tea.]

Trying to make cinnamon rolls.

[ She casts a look at him over her shoulder. ]

It's going.. okay.

[They don't smell too bad for something she's 'trying' to make.

Although he is definitely giving you one questioning look.] I thought you were making tea.

Cinnamon rolls go with tea, don't they?

...I guess. [He's not an expert on subjects like those.]

Have you made the tea yet?

I was.. sort of hoping you could help me with that. Alice showed me how to make it, but..
