3rd Judgement ~ [Video]
[While Uther holds his back straight and chin held high - because he is king and whatever he can keep of that he'll take - he looks fairly worse for wear with slight bags under his eyes and obvious exhaustion despite his posture. It's been rough ever since he came here, but even more so recently, and sleep and rest is are very elusive things.
But despite how tired he is, he's relied on Arthur's support for too long and, honestly, he's not sure he can convince himself he even deserves that loyalty so much anymore. That's why he's addressing the network.
He almost feels a little awkward, but he doesn't show it.]
How does one go about.. finding a job?
[It's probably less about it being a new world so how should he know how it works and more about him not having had to look for one, ever.]
((OOC: I'm going to go on a slowatus from tomorrow until the 9th August oops so this isn't really great timing, but waiting would have been OOC of him so at least I can get in a day of proper tagging. Do please bear with me orz.))

He actually... didn't think of that. And it's obvious he thinks there's a point in that by the way he actually presses his fingers to his eyes and rubs them, pinches the bridge of his nose.
But he can't... Just the thought-- God, he doesn't know.]

[ not many would dare tell Uther what to do but this is why she's Morgana. ]

[Not just stubbornness, but he has a feeling Morgana wouldn't listen to that ear.

[Of course he doesn't think Arthur is enjoying this. That doesn't mean Arthur would be willing to see him and talk to him yet.]

[It probably has a lot to do with that because Merlin really did change everything, but there is so much more although... Ah, Arthur probably hasn't talked to Morgana about... his birth.]

See, he opens his mouth to deny straight away, because how could he ever accept Arthur being so close to someone who's used magic behind their backs over and over? It's exactly what he's always said; that sorcerers are tricksters and liars and Merlin kept his choice to give into magic a secret, has fooled them and played with them.
And yet, seemingly perfectly knowing all this, really knowing it, Arthur still says he trusts him completely. And Uther doesn't know how to deal with it, he just doesn't, and yet... And yet when Arthur came to him to tell him that Merlin is family whether Uther accepts it or not, he had told Arthur...
"I will... try."
What had he been thinking, really? Arthur is so important, so, so important, but...
He takes a deep breath, and tries again.]
I have accepted that no matter what I think or say, Arthur will not give up on the boy. I only hope it does not end up hurting him further.
[Further than he's already been hurt, by everything. And Uther is terrified.]

And Uther frowns at Morgana, turns her words over and over in his mind, contemplating. It could of course be nothing, could mean as a general thing, but yet...
But yet, he has a feeling that most often things are not accidental concerning these matters. Certainly not here.
