Hello, fellow travelers. I have a question for you, if you care to answer. Interpret it as you wish, however I will not deny it is inspired by our recent encounter with the one called Loki.

Can you kill a god?

Whatever it is that keeps gods from staying dead. I don't know much about it.

Ah, but then wouldn't killing them in the first place be a bypass of that very ability? I believe there is a difference between simply injuring them so they appear dead by human standards, and truly killing them.

I knew one that died, and would come back in another form.

Like a reincarnation process?

Just like that.

[Her end of the feed is silent for a few moments. A reincarnating god? As far she knew, reincarnation was a process reserved for mortal souls. What need did gods have of reincarnation? It made her think of the kakera jumping she once had to do, in her memories of that girl. But at the same time, was it anything like a bug shedding its skin, becoming a new insect?]

I admit, this has piqued my curiosity. Are you aware of how this process worked, at all?

If you wouldn't mind explaining.

A god isn't always what people think. With mortal bodies, it's possible for them to die. But just their body dies. Their spirit moves on, reborn into another body, again and again.

So even gods aren't 'safe' from reincarnation, then.

It's how they live forever.
