I wouldn't say that death is any more inevitable here than anywhere else--at least, not yet.

Just because death is not an end does not mean that life is valued any more deeply. I can think of no crueler torture in all the world than to tell someone after the sting of death has claimed them that they aren't even allowed peace in that moment. Personally, I would say that they just like torturing us psychologically.

I agree. It does seem a bit unfair, but I would hate for things to end here. And in that way.
