[She clearly has no idea what she's doing. For starters, the video is just of the wall to begin with. Mostly she's just hit buttons until something seemed to happen.]
Is this...? Oh dear, this is so dreadfully confusing. Well...
[Finally she comes into view, curls all arranged perfectly despite her absence of maids to attend her, or near enough. Admittedly, her hat is hiding most of it, but that was the novelty of such a large hat, and she was glad she had them, because doing her hair was going to become... difficult. Almost as difficult as lacing up her corset by herself.
She's also sitting on the stairs of the Welcome Hall, and somewhere between a frown and a pout on her face. She was doing alright with being here, some part of her was even excited... but... well she couldn't go out through the water. It would ruin her dress, and on top of everything else, she disliked feeling trapped, even if she was used to it.]
I'm told that others can see this? I'm a little confused but... does anyone know how to leave the buildings without... well, getting damp?
[She leans on her hand, sighing a little, just a bit bored too.]

[He's almost cheeky enough to kiss her knuckles, but that would be out of line, surely. The mention of Freya brings renewed interest]
You as well? Color me pleased. Now, madame, I refuse to sling you over my shoulders-- [lightly teasing:] You will forgive me, ouais?
no subject
[It wouldn't bother her if he did, but still, she smiles, laughing quietly.] I'll take that to mean that you are as well. And of course, Monsieur, how could I not? [She was privately glad this dress was simple.]
I am so sorry adkls.
You are asking if humanity changes and the answer for that is always no. Those of higher standing have more rules to live by and a fair amount of corruption. Those with less do what they do. With a fair amount of corruption as well. [chuckling a bit at that-- he favors those types, but Georgiana makes him horribly nostalgic.] So, non.
They say the lovers belong to Freya, ouais? I cannot speak for you but myself? The gods were very correct in placing me there. It's good to privately ah, escort one of our newest housemates home.
is nothing! /snugs
You sound like you have seen much, sir, and none of it very kind... [she settled against him a little more comfortable.] But you're right about the corruption, both high and low class... [and blackmail, but she's not going to add that.]
[She laughs at little at his implication, she ought to be embarrassed, but she figured they're a little bit beyond that, given how he'd literally swept her off feet.] For lovers, really? Perhaps I ought to find one myself again. [being suggestive right back, even if it's not completely serious.] Is this the part where I have to trade a kiss to show my thanks?

[Her next words make it worth being calve-deep in water.]
What you choose to do with your time is strictly up to you, my lady. There are many favorable types, I'll say. [Francis has the habit of picking out beauty in a person no matter how small though, so he's generally of good opinion. The offer of a kiss in thanks doesn't make him blush, but he does smirk slightly] You do not have to. I wouldn't deny it if you saw my services fit of reward though.
[Flirting and walking-- he does it well. DON'T WORRY FREYA'S JUST A LITTLE WHILE DOWN THIS ROAD. The cheese will not get to Georgiana, hopefully.]

[She lived to please. One way or another.]
That is the nicest words I've heard in such a long, long time. [She laughs to cover just how true that was.] You're bold, aren't you? Maybe I will then.
[Just maybe not right now. But this being carried like something out of story was kind of nice though. Very nice.]
no subject
[You don't have to tell him about boldness, or how true that statement was. He has a good feeling that he knows both for what they are.]
I have no reason to be shy. Do I look like a shy man in any sense?
[Get a good look at this man. He doesn't look demure at all, and maybe that's a perk to France. She doesn't need to know anything to the contrary. Between the coy glances and a few pebbles his feet come across, he manages to spot the colonial that housed the Freya 'tributes' - Hunger Games references aside; getting her attention:]
Regardez! Our hopefully ah, temporary home, no?
[Shall he let you down now, on dry land-- or shall he carry you to your bedroom? Not too soon, right? :|]
no subject
Like her husband, snerk.]No, I'd say a shy man would ask very politely before bundling up women in his arms before escorting them to their apparently shared lodgings. [just going to make that sound as suggestive as possible.
But oh, she does look. She likes what she sees, even if it's in a purely aesthetic sense. Though she turns her head away when he points it out. Smiling broadly.] Look at it, it looks like one of those sweet country houses you see sometimes. [Just... showing her breeding for a second.]
no subject
[He chooses to be nice and set her down easily, a hand going to her back to steady her, grabbing for the door with the other to hold it open for her. Inside there is a great deal of pink. It took him awhile to get used to it himself. But Victorian. Pretty things. It might suit her tastes!]
I had a country home in Burgundy myself. I enjoyed gardening. [Even if she wasn't looking at him, the humor was thick in his words, though it was all true.] Now, let us dry off a bit inside-- They did tell you what room was yours, right? The least I could do would be to help you find it.
no subject
[She looked up at him and smiled while she got her bearings, before stepping through, and it was pretty, nor did she mind the pink.]
I've heard it's lovely in burgandy. But gardening, really? I never would of picked you for that kind of gentlemen. [she nodded at his question.] They did. But I have no idea where it is in this place.
no subject
washad an empire! It's not that he'd try to one up this man that he hasn't met if only to make the woman on his arm smirk secretly. He stepped in after her and shut the door behind, brow raising at her supposed disbelief]What kind of gentleman would that be, Georgiana? [He sounds amused, as if he has a suspicion on her thoughts. Perhaps he is? But, maybe he's not. Who knows about France?] Only a man of capable hands can keep a garden or appreciate its beauty. I am an appreciator of beauty, n'est-ce pas?
[Of course he uses this as an opportunity to weave their arms together. To lead her in the right direction, as this hall was quite confusing. Only not at all and he's just shameful in that sort of way.]
Tell me and I will find it for you?
no subject
Didn't mean he had any less control over her but...]
You're too kind. [she didn't want his words to have so much of an affect, her husband never appreciated those sorts of things, ever. He was surrounded by it, and all the little things Georgiana did, and he never bothered with it. So she just beams at him when he said that, so brightly it almost hurt.] That's a very grand thing indeed, and I can find no fault in it at all, for I am much the same.
[she doesn't mind at all, leaning into his side just a little.] Room 106.
