[ inb4... why did it have to be rising water woes......

so, er, it’s kind of apparent that rising water’s kind of traumatic for velige. ever since the water first started rising, he’s been feeling a distinctly uncomfortable. a sort of an ashamed disquietude. and while it’s no different from his usual pokerface, it apparently bothers him enough to the point where he’s willing to send a message out to the network in an attempt to assuage his uncertainty. ]

I need a favour. Define whats it like feelin sad.

Or tell me a sad story.

Doesn’t matter if it’s real or made-up or whatever. Slong as its supposed tmake people feel something.

[Loewe is really out of it and it's worrying. Conan puts his lunch box of sandwiches -- well, he tried to return the favour at least, and even if sandwiches aren't the most exciting, that's one less trip downstairs towards the water for Loewe -- on the desk and considers the other teenager.]

Is it the water or the flood?

... yeah no. he blinks here. ]

Loewe-kun's not doing so well, right now.

[ another beat before he answers. ] No, not really.

Is there anything that helps?

[ .... he has no idea, man. blank staring. think, vel, think--

... urgh. he's going to be sick. face in hands... ]

[-- definitely not the intended response, ack. What do you do in these circumstances?

Hang in there -- I'm going to get you a towel.

[Here's hoping your neighbour isn't using the bathroom this moment.]

[ his neighbour is a little girl, so... yeah... hopefully... dakjfdsl the towels are hung up neatly on the rack-- looks like velige is as meticulous with his surrounding as he is with his work.

though getting a towel may prove to be in vain, for after a few moments, he's coming in there after you. walking fairly steadily, but with a grimace on his face. he doesn't even have time to pass on an apologetic glance before he goes to commandeer the toilet bowl--

... can he just not exist right now kthx. ]

[... ah. Well, hopefully he'll feel better afterwards. Conan retrieves a towel, gets it damp at the sink and then pats Loewe's back as he waits for him to finish.]

[ ............ urgh. a little voice at the back of his head is telling him that he should feel a little embarrassed right now. but even on a good day, that part of his personality rarely is present ,adn at the moment, he's probably feeling a little too dazed to care. when he's done with that, he'll... quietly take the damp towel and wipe his mouth. ]

[Conan's going to pat your arm again, Loewe because that has been working out well for him recently.]

I'm going to get you a glass of water. Stay still, okay?

[ ... and meanwhile, velige is hating the fact that small gestures like a pat on the arm constantly reminds him of his dead siblings. but, yeah, not outwardly showing that, because it's Not Helpful. have a shallow nod.

... the kitchen is also pretty meticulous, and there's a water kettle. unfortunately, the cups are in cabinets above the counter, because velige likes keeping the counter bare. ]

[Velige has five flights of stairs down and five flights of stairs back up again to deal. Still, Conan is nothing if not good at climbing. When he returns it is with tea as well as water because he is so not making a second trip any time soon (little legs).]

Feeling any better?

[ sitting on the floor of the washroom and still pretending that he doesn't exist-- ]

... yeah. [ he gets up after a moment of debate. ] ... you okay?

[Conan holds out the glass of water.]

Ne ... I'm going to do Loewe-kun a big favour and pretend I didn't hear that.

[ sorry, but velige is le dumb when dazed. have an uncomprehending stare as he takes the glass of water. ] Stairs.

I am capable of climbing a few stairs.

[ ... right. he is. ] ... right.

[ then, as if remembering the glass of water, he takes a drink with a grimace. ... hnnng water. ]

[Conan puts the tea with the sandwiches on Loewe's desk.]

I made tea, though I'm not sure you'll want it. Do you want to lie down or is it too soon?

[ that makes it through his dazed brain long enough for him to appreciate it. maybe a small quirk of his lips, here. ]

... too soon. [ ....... ] Should probably stay awake for a bit longer.

Well, sit down at least! Standing up's not going to help.

[ ... that almost sounds like an order, little boss. he nods, mute, and makes his way to the edge of his bed. ... and sits unceremoniously on the floor. as soon as he sits down, he seems to deflate a little, before a hand goes to his head. ]

[Conan's a little alarmed at what seems like a sudden change in plans, but relaxes as it doesn't seem that Loewe's hurt himself.]

Oi ... no sudden moves or you'll be sick again. Dizzy?

[It doesn't seem like it's anything but a reaction to the weather, but Conan decides to check for a fever anyway. Lucky he has small hands -- he can try to place his on Loewe's forehead without having to remove Loewe's.]

[ ................... he is not used to being fussed over, haha. he'll hold still obediently so you can check his temperature, though-- it's slightly high, since he caught a cold sloshing around outside helping people with the water thing. not that he knows this. he shakes his head, though, once you're done with that. ]

Nah.

Just tired. [ of all the water. but he's giving you a curious look. ]

[Conan puts a hand to his own forehead to compare.]

Hot -- tch. You would have a fever.
