So I've been wondering something. All these people have been bragging about powers and such. Honestly though, what do you guys really think about these abilities?
For those who had their original powers stripped away, does it feel like a fair trade or not?
I think that for those who never had powers, it feels kind of new right?
[Of course, he's not making it clear if he had powers himself or not.
Stretching his arms over his head, he yawns.]
It makes me wonder if the Gods had a reason for taking away our original abilities. Shouldn't a larger variety, possible offer more color to this world? Just think of it as a canvas where you can add all these different colors.
...or maybe I'm just thinking too much about it.
[laughs softly]

[He knows the predicament very well. Compared to his original powers, these shadow powers are useless.]

I don't know if there's a REASXON for taking away the old abilities except to say those who asked for them back and were given them had someting very, very unpleasant happen. You can look it up on the network but I'd advise against it. It was pretty gruesome.

Well it's something new and it takes time to learn. What's important is the curiosity and determination to learn.
It might be even exciting in a way.

[Yeah, he saw all of it and wasn't surprised. He's not naive enough to trust these gods.]

I don't think it's fair trade, but I'd rather have this than die.

]He sees things differently though. It must be a Death God thing.]

Though I'm certain they'll disappear as soon as we leave this place. Assuming we will leave this place.

[Of course he still prefers his shinigami powers compared to the shadow ones he has right now.]

Sorry to hear that. Still I wouldn't give up on those charm powers.

Wouldn't it take a fair amount of power on their part to seal all of the original abilities? From what I've gathered there are some very powerful beings here.

I suppose you can see it like that too but I'm the type of artists that ignores lines and structure. So I prefer a blank canvas.
[It's how he got his powers in his world.]
