From what we've learned, this place is facing Rangarok--the end of the world. Some of the people here know about it, but I've never heard of it. The color disappearing, and the life, too, is a sign. It's gotten a little better since we first started coming here, but it's a pretty slow process. The gods said that it was important for us to be here because if this world falls, then the rest of our worlds will, as well.
I don't know if our worlds are in danger, but there's no known way to get out of here.
