Have to admit, I've got little to no problems being forced into this vacation of sorts. Beats everything I had on my plate before I got here by far.

But here's the thing.

That's kinda funny. I have a friend who's the same. Like, he wants people to always remember him.

Sure. The two of them used to hang out a lot, if I remember correctly.

Yeah, they looked like really close friends. It was fun hanging out with them, and it looks like they really knew each other well.

But it's not just coincidence. From the way they were laughing together (and teasing, really) it's not hard to tell they were close. Even if it started as something from simply hanging out, at least they're friends now.

Yeah, yeah, I get the picture. The two were the best of friends who went on to live happily ever after! It's probably not that epic a story as you're making it out to be.

Was I coming off as bitter? A good part of that was sincere guesswork. Believe it or not, I hope that the two of them do go on to be friends for the rest of their lives. [ ven doesn't need to know that this is highly impossible. ]

I do, however, hold on to my belief that it's not an epic story. Friendships like that are born every day.

Don't you have any friends like that? It's not meant to be epic and special, what matters is the time they shared. It's the little things that matter sometimes.
