[ A dream-like voice comes over the feed, a soft hum starting it off. ] This is very curious. I don't remember falling asleep, but since my shoes have taken off somewhere without me, I assume that is what has happened. Perhaps they have left with that woman's face, though I'm not sure what she would do with them.

[ She sighs. ] But that isn't all that is missing here. Having all the color stolen is quite dreadful. This is much too grand a scheme for Nargles.

I wonder if the Blibbering Humdingers had anything to do with it. But as I haven't been able to find one, I'm not sure how much help I will be able to give you in getting your color back. Or retrieving that nice lady's face. Theft is not very nice, in either case. But I would like to take a crack at it.

[ A distant, almost airy laugh. ] I would very much like to meet one.

[Varon listens closely, his head tilts to the side at first then his brow lifts the moment she mentions the Nargles. Then comes the Blibbering Humdingers and he snorts then cracks up laughing.]

Uh...yeah. You could say that. Never thought about a name for it.

[ This is a perfectly normal conversation. ]

[Have a very curious clockwork angel peering at the camera in interest.]

Ooh, what are these blibbering humdingy things? Are they some sort of race or creature found back in your world.

[And it's back to laughing.]

Ah, that's exactly how it was for me, too! Except I wasn't wearing shoes to begin with. Naturally, that means they were missing.

[ Merrill looks visually curious for a moment. ]

Nargles? Blibbering Humdingers? What manner of creatures are those..? They sound.. dreadful. [ in more ways than one ]

Yes, I would like that.

[ A long, awkward beat that's pretty much filled with his laughter... ]

Are you being tickled?

They like to capture things with their spindleflitch, but I'm not sure if stealing pigment is something they can do. [ She says as if she's talking about the weather. ]

Spindleflitch? Sounds almost poetic. What sort of things do they like to capture?

Oh, thank you! They're just clocks, you know, but I do appreciate you appreciating them.

No--no; the first thing you said. [ and after consideration.. ] The first crazy thing you said.. the Billboard Hogwash Turkey Dinners! [ IT'S TOTES LIKE A VIRUS ]

Come to think of it, I just said it. It's rather brilliant isn't it? [ NATHAN YOU ARE NOT LUNA. ]

Perhaps our shoes have found each other. Company would be nice.

[ She hums quietly for a second. ]

They are more troublesome in their games than anything, really. It can be inconvenient.

[A slight pause, he looks up then breaks into laughter again.]

Oh yes, now that you mention it, a turkey dinner does sound rather brilliant.

[ She sounds a little far away and dreamy for a moment... ]

Perhaps that would be an incentive for the Blibbering Humdingers as well.

Thoughts about cats and toenails, mostly. I suppose color wouldn't be too far of a stretch.

Have they always been that way?

[ Eternally patient Luna! She waits until his laughter finally dies down again before she speaks. ]

They must be quite skilled ticklers.

[From his laughing, he pressed the voice by accident when he slapped his hand on the bannister. Now that he's pretty much finished, he returns it back to video and nods.]

[He's still giggling but hey, that's the best laugh he's had in ages. He sighs and keeps his smile.]

How can one steal thoughts, miss? And why about those subjects in particular? Do they find them appetizing?

Oh, not always! But they've been like this for quite some time.

I see. She still can't find her face? How tragic. [ She seems...honestly a little sad about that. And wistful. ]

It's a mysterious creature that enjoys catching things with its Spindleflitch, which can be quite troublesome on occasion. Or so I've heard.

That's what the spindleflitch does. As for the rest, I'm not sure. I've yet to meet one. I had been hoping I could ask one in person some day.

Do you use them to travel through time?

Huh! Maybe that's why people forget things all of a sudden when they're in the midst of doing something. Makes sense.

No, no I don't! I use them to tell time and help in my duty. That's all.

Oh, I hope it didn't rip anything too important.

[ Yes, she is serious. ]

I suppose not.

[He's tried not to question this whole thing, honestly. It was strange, of course, arriving in a strange new city, just after escaping from Royce's grasp...and to be asked for help by the gods? For a moment, D33 had thought that perhaps he had died...but this place was far too mild to be the hell he felt he deserved.

[At any rate, he can't explain what's happened logically, and so for now, he'll do his best to watch with an objective eye.

[All that aside, he's aware that these creatures she speaks of are very well not real, but hearing her trying to explain them...
